Switches · free daily logic puzzle

How to play

  1. Tap a switch to flip it — on becomes off, off becomes on.
  2. Every switch is wired to neighbors. Flipping one also flips everything it's wired to.
  3. Your goal: get every switch on in as few moves as possible.
  4. The wiring is visible — the puzzle is reading the cascade before you commit.

Switches is a daily deduction puzzle in the lights-out family: three shared boards a day — easy, medium, and hard — identical for every player in the world. The leaderboard ranks by moves first, then time, so the best players aren't the fastest tappers; they're the ones who plan the whole cascade before the first flip.

Frequently asked questions

Is Switches free?

Yes. All three daily boards are free in your browser — no download, no sign-up required to play.

When do new puzzles arrive?

At midnight UTC, three fresh boards drop — the same boards for everyone.

What makes a good Switches player?

Reading the wiring graph. Every flip propagates, so the skill is working out the minimal set of switches to press — often backwards from the solved state.
